This FS1-E has just undergone a total nut and bolt professional restoration to include the following:-
Engine - Professionally rebuilt by "The Fizzy Doctor" with new seals and bearings.
Frame, swing arm and under bracket have been blasted and powder coated in black.
All tinware has been stripped to bare metal and professionally re-painted in the YAMAHA "Candy Orange" finish.
All silverware professionally sprayed in matching "YAMAHA" silver and coated with petrol resistant lacquer.
The original YAMAHA zinc parts have either been refurbished then re-zinced or replaced with original NOS parts.
The original YAMAHA chrome parts have either been refurbished then re-chromed or replaced with original NOS parts*
Seat - original base has been restored & power coated, fitted with a new foam, seat cover & stainless steel strip.
Speedo - internals have been restored, housing has been re-chromed and mileometer has been reset to zero.
Wheels - NOS "Araya" rims fitted professionally laced with stainless steel spokes and trued by "Sids Wheels", the original FS1-E Hubs have been restored & polished and wheels fitted with original OEM "INOUE" tyres front & rear.
This iconic sports moped has been been restored to the very highest standard and you will be hard pushed to find a better one. You will not be disappointed! It is the rarest UK FS1-E model, being one of the first numbered fizzys to have the "FS1-E" decal on the side panel in the Candy Orange paint finish after the "SS" and only about 4,500 were ever made and sold in the UK.
